During the event, a presentation was organized covering the main aspects of corruption in universities and medical institutions: its types, consequences for the economy and social sphere, including education and healthcare, and measures for its prevention.
The discussion with the participation of the instructors proceeded as follows:
• Associate Professor K.K. Mustafina publicly discussed with students the impact of corruption on the development of universities and medical institutions, as well as their institutional processes, emphasizing the importance of youth understanding the negative consequences of corrupt practices.
• Associate Professor T.S. Begadilova explained the legal and ethical aspects of combating corruption, highlighting each citizen’s responsibility and the role of youth in maintaining transparency and fairness.
• Lecturer A.A. Musaeva conducted an open discussion on the effects of corruption on social sectors, the quality of work in educational and medical institutions, and citizens’ personal lives, providing real-life examplesю
• Assistant/Adviser G.H. Askar** publicly explained to students how individual responsibility and active youth participation can contribute to combating corruption in universities and medical institutions, encouraging them to think about preventive measures and their practical application.
To illustrate the issue, students were shown a video demonstrating the impact of corruption on society and the functioning of universities and medical institutions. The video helped deepen understanding of the topic and stimulated discussion. At the conclusion of the session, students concluded that the fight against corruption begins with each individual. They expressed a desire to continue studying the topic and actively participate in anti-corruption initiatives.
