On December 5, 2025, a poetry evening dedicated to the 185th anniversary of Ybyrai Altynsarin’s birth was held in Room 126 of the S.R. Karynbaev Department of Anatomy. The evening was organized by Assistant Professor L.A. Iskakova, Assistant Professor M.I. Okhanova, and students from Groups OM 25-005 and 25-041. The evening took the form of a literary and musical composition. Timeless poems and songs written to the poet’s words were performed throughout the evening.

The evening’s hosts, Oralbai Erlan and Kusayyn Dilnaz (OM 25-005), introduced each poem from the poet’s work. During a multimedia presentation, Serik Akzhan (OM 25-041) introduced the poet’s biography. The audience learned the story of the poet’s childhood and youth, as well as his literary and social activities. The hall was filled with the songs “Samaltau” and “Shymyr,” performed by Algyr Nurzhan Med24-038. We also learned more about Ybyrai Altynsarin’s work through his lyrical poems, which were heartfeltly recited by Turganbek Korkemai, a student from Med25-041. The next event was a quiz about how well we knew the life and work of Ybyrai Altynsarin. Small prizes were awarded to those who actively participated and gave the correct answer.

Next, a stage performance was presented dedicated to this spiritual legacy. Students from OM25-005, distinguished by their active and creative work, took the stage.
