“Ethics, Deontology and Ecology — the Culture of a Modern Person”
On November 20, 2025, lecturers of the Department of Language Disciplines — Bekpentayeva L.S., Tursynbayeva R.A., Bizhanova A.A., and Abdullayeva G.T. — conducted a student competition-training titled “Ethics, Deontology and Ecology — the Culture of a Modern Person” in Dormitory No. 2.
Three teams participated in the competition: “Green mind”, “KinderDocs”, and “Etika medika. ”The purpose of the event was to develop teamwork skills, teach students to make ethically and environmentally correct decisions, explain their reasoning, and follow the rules of conduct and living in the dormitory.
The competition consisted of five stages:
- Video presentation on ethics, deontology and ecology
- Situational task “What is the right thing to do?”
- Role-play “Ethical dialogue
- Brainstorming session
- Useful habits that save the planet
The event broadened students’ knowledge of ethical principles, deontology and ecology, and fostered a sense of internationalism and tolerance, which will undoubtedly be useful in their future professional activities. The competition was held at a high level and was marked by creative tasks and the positive engagement of the participants.
