An Educational Excursion to the Parasitology Museum under the Motto “Knowledge Saves Lives!”

🌟 From October 13 to 17, 2025, second-year students of the “Medicine” and “Pediatrics” programs held their practical classes in the subject “General Microbiology, Virology, and Parasitology” at the Parasitology Museum of the Agrarian University. 💡

During the excursion, the students became acquainted with the materials of the parasitology section, learning about the types and life cycles of parasites, their effects on the human body, as well as modern methods of diagnosing and preventing parasitic diseases.

🔬 The introductory part emphasized the special importance of medical parasitology as a science for future doctors. The authentic exhibits and extensive collections at the museum allowed the students to witness the invisible world with their own eyes and to understand how theoretical knowledge is applied in practice.

✨ This excursion was not only a part of the educational process but also a truly educational journey into the micro-world, where every exhibit reminded them that “Knowledge saves lives!” The Department of Microbiology and Virology is pleased to have given future healthcare professionals an unforgettable experience.
