International cooperation. Within the framework of the visiting-professors program, three leading phthisiatric specialists from Russia and Ukraine were invited to the department: Professors V.A Stakhanov, V.I Petrenko, A.V Mordyk.

In 2011 the chair was visited by the doctor of medical sciences, professor Stakhanov V.A. – Head of the Department of Phthisiopulmonology of the Russian State Medical University named by N.I Pirogov. He gave lectures for students and residents of the department on topical issues of phthisiology, conducted master classes for assistant chairs and doctors at the basic clinic.

In 2012, lectures and seminars for students, residents, assistants of the department and doctors of phthisiatricians of the city were conducted by Dr. Petrenko V.I. – Head of the Department of Phthisiopulmonology of the National Medical University named by A.A Bogomolets (Ukraine, Kiev).

In 2014, a visiting professor-Mordyk A.V. from the Omsk State Medical Academy held lectures and seminars for students and doctors of the city.
The head of the department Professor A.S. Rakisheva annually makes reports at the Congresses of phthisiatricians of Russia, meetings of the heads of the phthisiology departments of the UIS countries.
Employees of the department take part in international conferences and seminars.
