All staff members of the department have a medical category and work experience of more than 10 years. Clinical work of the department staff is performed in the amount of 0.5 doctor’s rates at clinical bases. Professors and associate professors conduct scheduled and emergency consultations in the supervised departments, participate in consultations, clinical analysis, pathoanatomical conferences. In accordance with the plan, the professors and associate professors conduct rounds in the supervised offices. Assistants supervise patients in hospital departments, go for calls as part of ambulance brigades, are on duty in the admission departments of hospitals.

In total during the reporting period, the staff of the department in the basic medical institutions consulted 1413, treated 4595 patients, the number of consultations – 301, in addition, within the framework of the charitable actions, the department staff accepted 405 patients of cardiological, pulmonological, neurological, gerontological profile.

Clinical analyzes were conducted with the participation of students and doctors of supervised departments.
