Teachers of the Department of Normal Physiology with a Biophysics course  N.M. Almabaeva, Abdrassilova V.O. and U.D. Oteuova organized a meeting with publicist and political scientist B. Bukarbay on the topic “Books are a precious treasure of humanity, the fruit of the mind”. The meeting was attended by faculty members of the department, Dean of the School of General Medicine S.Kh. Izmaylova, first-year students of the School of General Medicine, and specialists from the university library.

During the meeting, participants asked questions on various topics: about his life, student years, books he has written, work on the reissue and translation of historical books, and plans for the future. During a break, guests and students guessed riddles and proverbs. The winners were presented with a book autographed by the author and various prizes. In addition, the head of the information and methodology department, S.A. Akhmedullaeva, provided information about the library’s book collection and its availability of not only scientific and educational books but also fiction.

The students spoke about the necessity of such meetings and were greatly impressed by this one.
