Literary and Musical Roundtable “The Great Poet – Zhambyl”

On February 27, 2026, in honor of the 180th anniversary of the great Kazakh poet Zhambyl Zhabayev, faculty members of the S.R. Karynbayev Department of Normal Anatomy—lecturer Aidana Kanatovna Saidakhmetova and assistant professor Altyn Askarovna Abilova—and students from groups M24-053r, P25-002k, and M25-051 organized a literary and musical roundtable discussion entitled “The Great Poet – Zhambyl.”

The event aimed to foster spiritual and moral values ​​in students, strengthen the spiritual and moral education of future medical professionals, popularize the national literary heritage, and promote the work of Zhambyl Zhabayev, an outstanding representative of Kazakh poetry. Students read excerpts from the poet’s works “Leningradtyk Oerenim,” “Alatau,” “Letter to My Son,” and others, and also performed poetry compositions. The literary and musical portion of the event included expressive poetry readings, which had a profound spiritual impact on the participants through artistic expression. A lively discussion ensued, and students’ questions were answered thoughtfully. Faculty and students participated in the event.

The literary and musical roundtable “Zhambyl Zhabayev – Zhyr Alyby” was organized at a high level and achieved its stated goals. During the event, medical university students gained a deeper understanding of the value of national literature and expanded their knowledge of the educational and spiritual significance of Zhambyl Zhabayev’s creative legacy. It was noted that such cultural and educational events have a positive impact on the personal development of future medical professionals.
