On April 16, 2025, the international student olympiad dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the department of normal anatomy named after S.R.Karirbayev took place. 10 teams from different countries competed for the prizes and showed excellent knowledge in anatomy and histology.

The Olympics took place online through ZOOM. The Olympics consisted of several stages, including such sections, greeting teams in the form of familiarization in another language was called the competition «Creativity» where each student had the opportunity to speak in Japanese, English, Chinese, Uzbek, Kyrgyz, Russian and Kazakh. There were test questions, solving situational problems and completing tasks with the team, a tour for captains where each captain skillfully demonstrated knowledge of X-ray and electron.

The jury members were Dosayev T.M., Yelyasin P.A., Beisembayev A.A., Suleimanova R.T., Komekbay Zh.E. The jury fairly assessed the students’ answers, taking into account their anatomical and histological thinking, clinical analysis skills and the possibilities of their application in practice.

According to the results of the Olympiad, the prize places were distributed as follows:
Grand Prix: “Vincentes” – Novosibirsk
1st place: “Astra Medica” – KazNMU
2nd place: “Motus rationalis” – Saratov, “Nomad cells” – Astana, “NaVi” – Bishkek
3rd place: “Reaviz” – Petersburg, “Bioyogurts” – KazNAIU, “Riolan” – Aktobe, “Based on real tissues” KRMU, “Scalpel” – Tashkent.
Overall, the Olympiad was organized at a high level, which allowed to improve the knowledge and qualifications of students. Participants deepened their knowledge in the field of anatomy and histology, gained experience. Such knowledge competitions make a great contribution to improving the educational system of medical universities.
