The international cooperation

In order to increase academic mobility at the department, since 2011, an invitation to visiting professors has been organized.

In November 2011, professor Scott Miller (University of Utah, USA, member of the Association of Anatomists of America, editor of the Anatomical Record magazine) was invited to the department with a master class program “Modern Concept of Teaching Anatomy”.

For three years (in 2013, 2014, 2015), on the basis of the Department of Normal Anatomy, seminars and round tables were held with professor of Tel Aviv University Gregory Livshits (Doctor, PhD, Israel). Also, professor Gregory Livshits gave lectures for students in Russian and English.

In November 2022, a visiting professor from Israel, Professor of the Department of Anatomy at Tel Aviv University Gregory Livshits was invited to the department. The professor held a master class for teaching staff and lectured students on splanchnology and comparative anatomy.

From November 6 to November 11, 2023, as part of the program to attract leading foreign specialists as visiting professors, an associate professor of the Department of Anatomy, Topographic Anatomy and Operative Surgery of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University was invited. B. Yeltsin Beisenbaeva Anvar Akulkerimovich. In the training program on the topic: “Current problems of morphology. Anatomical and topographical features of the muscular, genitourinary, digestive, cardiovascular and nervous systems of the human body” was attended by more than 1000 1st and 2nd year students of the Schools of Medicine and Pediatrics. In the process of interaction between department staff and a foreign colleague, plans for further cooperation in the field of scientific and pedagogical activities were discussed and developed.
