Report on the Event “Amal Holiday – A Symbol of Kindness and Unity”

On March 13, 2026, an educational event entitled “Amal Holiday – A Symbol of Kindness and Unity” was held at the Department of Molecular Biology and Medical Genetics. The event was organized with the aim of promoting national values, popularizing the traditions and customs of the Kazakh people, and fostering the spiritual and moral development of students. The event was attended by faculty members of the department and first- and second-year students majoring in Medicine.

Purpose of the event:
To increase students’ interest in national culture and traditions, promote the spiritual heritage of the Kazakh people, cultivate respect for elders, and strengthen mutual respect, harmony, and unity among students.

Objectives of the event:

  • promotion of the traditions and national values of the Kazakh people;
  • fostering young people’s respect for and interest in national culture;
  • improvement of students’ spiritual and moral education;
  • development of friendly relations and mutual respect among students.

During the event, students were provided with detailed information about the history of the “Amal Holiday – Korisu Day”, as well as its significance and role in the culture and traditions of the Kazakh people.

Faculty members and students greeted each other in accordance with the traditional “Amal Holiday – Korisu Day” custom, congratulating one another on the safe end of winter and expressing sincere good wishes. The event was attended by first- and second-year students of the Medicine program and faculty members of the department.

The event contributed to expanding students’ knowledge of national culture and traditions and helped to shape their spiritual and moral values. Students emphasized the educational significance of the “Amal Holiday – Korisu Day” and highlighted the importance of preserving and respecting national traditions.

In conclusion, it should be noted that organizing such educational events contributes to the development of national identity, respect for cultural heritage, and the strengthening of unity and harmony among students and faculty members.
