From 2020 to 2023, 44 syllabuses have been developed:
For the specialties “General Medicine” and “Pediatrics” in Kazakh, Russian, English – 24
in disciplines: “Basics of preclinical research (part 1)”, “Movement (normal) (part 2)”,
“Nutrient absorption and metabolism (normal)” (part 1),
“Homeostasis and excretion (normal)” (part 2)
For the specialty “Dentistry” in Kazakh, Russian, English – 6
For the 2nd course on the module “Mechanisms for protecting the oral cavity-1. Biological chemistry”;
For the specialty “Dentistry”, 3 course on the module “Mechanisms for protecting the oral cavity-2. Biological chemistry”;
– in Kazakh, Russian – 2 in the discipline “Fundamentals of Biochemistry” Module: Chemical disciplines for the 2nd course of TPP;
– in Kazakh, Russian – 2 in the discipline “Biological Chemistry” – Module: Chemical disciplines for the 2nd year of pharmacy;

Innovative technologies that improve student learning, including e-Learning:
Associate Professor Bulygin K.A. a video course of lectures (23) on biochemistry for medical students in Russian was created and posted in you tube channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2PZi9iZydKU&list=PLwisvilHEJQWF0-1ROB-GmalMcULhDj8f ( 2019-2020 academic year).
4 video lectures were prepared in the Kazakh language and posted on the youtube channel of the Department of Biochemistry: associate professors Zhetpisbay D.Sh. – 2 lectures, Kirgizbayeva A.A. – 1 lecture, lecturer Dosymbekova R.S. – 1 lecture (2021-2022 academic year).
Implementation of innovations in the educational process (online courses, online learning, project activities, etc.)
The teaching staff of the department within the framework of the faculty of advanced training (Order No. 235 of December 21, 2020) conducted classes for students of the Department of Biochemistry of the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy. The Syllabus “Current trends in teaching medical biochemistry” was compiled and the relevant content was prepared (Program, calendar-thematic lesson plan, information blocks and presentations for classes) (2020-2021 academic year).
International Olympiad on Biochemistry
On April 27, 2022, the Department of Biochemistry as part of School of General Medicine-1 held International Student Olympiad dedicated to the Day of Science on the discipline “Biochemistry”. The event was attended by 173 students from various countries – Kazakhstan, Belarus, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, India, Jordan.
The Olympiad was held in 2 rounds in three languages (Kazakh, Russian, English) on the platform Webex Meeting. 18 participants won prizes (2021-2022 academic year).
