From May 20 to 22, 2025, Shokhmurod Anarkhanovich Molaikhanov, assistant of the Department of Pharmacology and clinical pharmacologist, was on a business trip to Moscow to participate in the 7th Russian School for Young Scientists and Physicians on Pharmacogenetics, Pharmacogenomics, and Personalized Therapy. The event was held on May 21, 2025, at the Russian Medical Academy of Continuous Professional Education under the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
Participation in the School was based on a competitive selection process, which included submitting an application and a motivation letter. Out of a large number of applicants, only 50 of the most promising young specialists were selected — including our representative.
The event was organized by Russian Medical Academy of Continuous Professional Education. The main initiator and driving force behind the School was Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Medical Sciences, and Professor Dmitry Alekseevich Sychev — Head of the Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapy named after Academician B.E. Votchal, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, and Acting Rector of Russian Medical Academy of Continuous Professional Education. Under his guidance, participants discussed key directions in the development of pharmacogenetics and personalized medicine. He provided strong support to young specialists, offering invaluable advice and strategic guidance.
The School’s program included lectures by leading experts, discussions on the implementation of pharmacogenomic approaches in clinical practice, as well as participation in practical sessions and roundtable discussions focused on interdisciplinary collaboration in personalized therapy.
Shokhmurod Anarkhanovich plans to actively apply the knowledge and professional experience gained during the School in his scientific and clinical work in the field of clinical pharmacology.
