At the Department of Microbiology and Virology of KazNMU, a seminar on modern methods of tuberculosis diagnostics** was held, dedicated to World Tuberculosis Day. The event showcased the latest approaches and technologies used in diagnosing this infectious disease. The seminar was organized and conducted by leading specialists in phthisiopulmonology and microbiology, including Professor A.S. Rakisheva from the Department of Phthisiopulmonology at KazNMU, L.T. Chingisova, Head of the National Reference Laboratory and E.P. Telegina Head of the Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory at NNTSF. Students and faculty members of the Department of Microbiology, virology participated in the seminar. Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Microbiology, Virology B.A. Ramazanova publicly explained to students the key aspects of modern tuberculosis diagnostic methods, demonstrating the practical significance of the approaches presented. The event became an important platform for exchanging knowledge and experience between specialists and future medical professionals, contributing to the development of students’ practical skills and strengthening collaboration between departments.
