In November 2024, Room 273 of the Department of Microbiology and Virology hosted a screening and discussion of the four-part film Early Spring for advisor groups. The film is dedicated to Sanzhar Asfendiyarov, his life, and his work. Sanzhar Asfendiyarov was one of the first prominent figures in the field of medicine in Kazakhstan—a doctor, scientist, educator, and public figure. During the discussion, he was recognized not only as an important figure in medicine and education but also as a personality who made a significant contribution to the culture and history of the Kazakh people.
