During the reporting period, the staff of the department carried out scientific work within the framework of the complex theme “Development and implementation of innovative approaches to the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of hereditary and non-infectious diseases in children.” Estimated date of beginning and end of NTP – 1 sq. Km. 2017 – 4 square meters. 2019. The name of the field of scientific research is medicine. The type of research is applied research. The location of the NTP is Almaty. Participants of scientific and technological progress are scientific employees of the State Enterprise “National Center of Pediatrics and Children’s Surgery”, “Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov “(Almaty). This STP is under consideration by the MoE RK for financing within the framework of the PCF of the MoE RK.

The department mainly conducts scientific work in the following areas: Pediatric pulmonology; Pediatric gastroenterology; Neonatology. Employees of the department for the past year published 8 published works, including 5 scientific articles, of which in foreign journals – 3. It is planned to publish educational and methodical manuals and a guide to the discipline “Propaedeutics of Childhood Illnesses.” Employees of the department received 3 patents. The staff of the department delivered scientific reports at city, regional and republican conferences (4 reports) with international participation.
