Doc. Zubova N. In. ass. Serkbay S. S.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The round table was attended by teachers of the Department of endocrinology, internal medicine \u21161, pharmacology, OVP\u21161, doctors of the criminal code\u21162, as well as residents of endocrinology, students of 4 and 5 courses of specialty &#8220;General medicine&#8221;. The presented material aroused great interest among students, teachers and doctors. The round table ended with a lively discussion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In conclusion, Prof. Komori focused the attention of the audience on the need for screening of patients with metabolic syndrome for liver damage, which will allow timely adequate therapy and reduce the risk of advanced stages of NAFLD. As emphasized by the Professor, the basis for the treatment of NAFLD is the correction of manifestations of metabolic syndrome and lifestyle changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\t\t<div id='gallery-3' class='gallery
