The Department of Normal Anatomy was established in 1930. Its first head was the candidate of medical sciences, professor, honored doctor of the republic Isaev\u00a0Petr\u00a0Osipovich.\u00a0In subsequent years, the department was headed by: Honored Doctor of the Republic, candidate of medical sciences, professorBukeikhanovKhazikhanNaushervanovich (1962-1966), twice the Minister of Health of the Kazakh SSR, professor Karynbaev Sibugatulla Ryskalievich (1966-1976).\u00a0In the interests of specialized teaching in 1976 the large department of normal anatomy was divided into two departments. The department of the pediatric faculty was headed by professor S.R. Karynbaev (1976-1983), professor G.M. Musagaliev (1983-1999).
\nThe department of normal anatomy of the medical and dental faculties was headed by Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, professor A.R. Rakhishev (1976-2003), doctor of medical sciences, professor Zhanybekov D.E. (2003 \u2013 2007), doctor of medical sciences, professor Dossaev T.M. (2007-2008).<\/p>\n
After the merger of the medical and pediatric faculty departments, from June 1, 2011 to September 2017 the department was headed by professor, doctor of medical sciences Dossaev T.M., currently from September 4, 2017 academic year the head of the department is candidate of medical sciences Ahmad N.S.<\/p>\n
After the merger of the Department of Normal Anatomy with the course of Topographic Anatomy with Experimental Surgery, since August 2020, the department is called the Department of Anatomy. In 2022, it was renamed into the Department of Anatomy with a course of topographic anatomy named after S.R. Karynbaev. In 2023, in connection with the division of the Department of Topographic Anatomy, the department is called \u201cNormal Anatomy named after S.R. Karynbaeva\u201d. Today, the department has been updated with young teachers.
