At the Department of History of Kazakhstan and SRS, a student circle “Iban-Sina” was created (head Abdrazakova N. A.). According to the plan of the circle, meetings with famous cultural figures, scientists and university students are held. As part of the circle, round tables are held with the participation of philosophers, sociologists, historians and scientists. Members of the circle annually actively participate in the Republican subject Olympiad on the subject of philosophy, history, cultural studies, political science, and sociology. Under the guidance of teachers of the department, students participate in international, national scientific and practical conferences.
