For the first time the discipline \u201cClinical pharmacology\u201d was introduced in 1983 in the form of a cycle at the medical faculty, since 1985 it has been transformed into a course.<\/div>\n<\/header>\n

In 1990, the Department of clinical pharmacology was opened in Kazakhstan, which until 2000 was headed by doctor of medical Sciences, Professor I. R. Kulmagambetov. From 2001 to 2002 the Department was reorganized into a course at the Department of General pharmacology, in 2003 the course became part of the Department of internal medicine.<\/p>\n

In September 2003, the Department of clinical pharmacology, pharmacotherapy, endocrinology, exercise therapy and physiotherapy was re-established, which until September 2012 was headed by doctor of medical Sciences, Professor Zhanpeisova A. A.<\/p>\n

From September 2012 to 2017, the Department was headed by doctor of medical Sciences, Professor A. K. Kairbekov.<\/p>\n

From February 2018 to the present time the Department is led by Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan, Honored worker of Kazakhstan, laureate of the State prize in the field of science and technology, doctor of medical Sciences, Professor Rakhimov K.
