This event was aimed at implementing the educational component of the academic curriculum in the disciplines <em>History of Kazakhstan<\/em>, <em>Fundamentals of Archaeology<\/em>, and <em>Historical and Cultural Monuments<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The main objective of the excursion was to increase students\u2019 interest in archaeological science, provide them with the opportunity to see archaeological artifacts firsthand and understand their scientific significance, as well as to foster a respectful attitude toward the history of the country.<\/p>\n<p>During the excursion, students became acquainted with archaeological monuments of the ancient, early nomadic, and medieval periods on the territory of Kazakhstan and gained experience of direct interaction with historical heritage.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the visit, students toured all the main exhibition halls of the museum and learned about the cultural characteristics of tribes and civilizations that existed in Kazakhstan during various historical periods. A museum specialist provided informative explanations about the origin of the artifacts discovered during archaeological excavations, the locations where they were found, and their scientific reconstructions.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibitions featured the following artifacts:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bronze Age:<\/strong> ceramic vessels, tools, household items;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Early Iron Age:<\/strong> weapons, jewelry, and horse equipment characteristic of the Saka and Wusun tribes;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Medieval period:<\/strong> architectural elements, ceramics, jewelry, and household items found in urban settlements;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Materials from burial mounds and settlements:<\/strong> reconstructions, photographs, and maps.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students compared the cultural and historical features of each period, asked questions to the guide, and actively participated in discussions.<\/p>\n<p>The educational and cognitive excursion to the Archaeology Museum of the RSE <em>Gylym Ordasy<\/em> not only expanded students\u2019 knowledge but also made a significant contribution to the formation of their historical awareness. The excursion had a positive impact on the worldview of future specialists.
