<\/p>\nThe chair of surgical diseases No.1 is organized in 1933. Professor IlyaSimovichBakkal \u2013 the graduate of the Leningrad army medical college was the first head of the department. More than 80-year history of chair\u00a0 wasmanagedby visible scientistsof Republic, who made a huge contribution to development of medical education, science and practical medicine: A.B. Rice, A.A. Suleymenov, M. A. Aliyev, M. K. Kulanbayev, Sh. N. Abdullaev, A.Zh. Nurmakov.<\/p>\n
Staff of chair published articles and theses in editions of the near and far abroad, also published methodical recommendations, monographs, manuals, textbooks, including the first textbook about surgery in a state language. Scientific achievements with success are introduced in practical health care: patents, methodical recommendations, acts of introduction. On chair studied for the first time in the Republic the theoretical and practical aspects of surgical pathology at the patients having drug addiction, the ways of prevention and treatment of postoperative pyoinflammatory complications are developed and introduced in practice. Now on chair are studiedquestions of prevention of postoperative complications, diagnostics and treatments of patients with the combined trauma.<\/p>\n
Practical training with students is given with use of modern interactive methods of training, there are acts of introduction.Clinical bases of chair are CCH No.4 of Almaty and RWH of the Almaty-1st. Give the emergency, planned surgical and advisory help to residents of Zhetysu and Turksib districts of Almaty. The staff of chair make all operations of the emergency and planned surgical help on organs of an abdominal and chest cavity, including with use of endovideosurgical technologies. Over the last 5 years the staff of chair made more than 1500 operations, 12000 consultations.<\/p>\n
