The department supervises 3 courses groups of general medicine faculty. Teaching stuff of department spends curator hours with the supervised students, who get acquainted with the life of the students living in hostels by organizing cultural events. Obligatory subjects of curator hours are: “The state symbols of Kazakhstan”, “A role of the Kazakhstan scientists-surgeons in development of surgery in Kazakhstan”, “Medical ethics questions in surgery”, “History of higher education institution and department”, “About harm of drugs and tobacco”.<\/p>\n
