The department conducts research on the effects of drugs, the provision of effective and safe treatment, the clinical approbation of new medicines, the development of new ways to evaluate the effectiveness of the therapy.

Employees of the department actively involve students in the implementation of of SIWs, annually the works performed by students are marked with diplomas and prizes at the university, there are publications of student works.
